Strong sales

Strong sales don’t happen by luck. They are planned and executed.

Why Sales Strategy Decides Growth

Roshna Saffar spoke on this as a VIP guest at the Future Billionaire Investor Summit in Dubai. The summit was held on 11 October at Hotel Millennium Plaza in Downtown Dubai.

Her talk was about sales strategies for companies and how a business can turn interest from the market into steady sales.

Investors hear a lot of plans. A company can have a good product and big targets, but none of it matters if it can’t win customers. A sales strategy is what makes that happen. It decides who the company sells to, what it tells them, and what it does when the first answer is no.

Most founders know their product well. Fewer have thought about how it will be sold, to whom, and by whom. The first sales often come from the founder. That works for a while, but it doesn’t grow with the company.

A strategy also helps the team. Without one, every salesperson does their own thing. Results go up and down, and no one knows why. With one, the company can see where sales come from, where they get stuck, and what to fix.

A good pitch deck is not enough to grow a company. A team needs a sales process it can follow, check, and improve.

It was good to see sales get its own place at an investor summit. Many people still treat it as a support job. Investors want to know if a company can win customers again and again, and that comes down to sales.

Virtual Captains was glad to be part of the conversation and to share how sales works for growing companies.

Strategy gets a company started. Sales keeps it going.
