India’s first Startup Park opened in Bengaluru, and Roshna Saffar was there for Virtual Captains.
The park was inaugurated on 7 November 2025 by Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar. It is an initiative by WOI. Guests, leaders, and founders came together for the day, and Virtual Captains was glad to be among them.
Startup Park describes itself as a complete ecosystem for entrepreneurs, with mentoring, an incubator and accelerator, development programmes, masterclasses, and legal help for startups. Its aim is to help shape India’s next generation of entrepreneurs.
For a founder, support like this makes the early days easier. They get guidance, training, and a community of others building at the same pace.
Virtual Captains wants to add to that support with sales. It works with businesses on sales strategy and team training, and its approach is simple: learn by practising.
For founders, that means working on the conversations that matter most. How to start a conversation with a possible customer. How to explain what the business offers in plain words. How to ask for the next step with confidence. Each skill is practised, reviewed with feedback, and practised again.
Virtual Captains also helps teams build a way of selling that they can repeat. When a company grows and new people join, they can follow the same steps and carry the same approach into every customer conversation.
The aim is to give founders the skills and the confidence to sell their ideas, whether they are speaking to a first customer, an investor, or a new partner.
For Roshna, the day was a proud one. She was honoured to be part of the inauguration, and she wished the whole team behind Startup Park every success in the years ahead.
India has no shortage of people with ideas. A platform built to turn those ideas into companies is a good start, and Virtual Captains is glad to help those companies grow.
Ideas start companies. Sales helps them grow.
