15,000+ students and early entrepreneurs. Dozens of classrooms across Kerala. One skill: selling.
Virtual Captains has trained students who want a career in sales, and young founders who need to sell their own ideas. The sessions were held at colleges across the state.
Most people learn sales on the job. They make their first calls with real customers and learn from every slip. Virtual Captains moves that practice into the classroom, so a graduate’s first week at work is not their first time on a customer call.
The sessions have been held at these institutes.

Sales Students: Practise Before the Job
Students work in pairs. One plays the salesperson. The other plays the customer. The salesperson makes the call. The customer asks about the price, or says, “Let me think about it.”
Then the pair stops and talks. What worked? What fell flat? Then they run it again.
After a few rounds, you can see the change. Students talk less and listen more. They ask better questions. A “no” stops feeling like the end. They learn it often means “not yet”.
These habits help in a first sales job. They also help in interviews and class presentations.
Early Entrepreneurs: Practise Before the Pitch
Young founders have no sales team. They are the sales team. So they pitch to customers and investors themselves.
In the sessions, they say the pitch out loud. They hear where listeners get lost, and they fix it. By the time a real buyer sits down, the pitch has been said many times.
A founder who can explain an idea in two clear sentences keeps the room listening.
The Idea Behind It
Selling is a skill, and skills need practice. A student who has made fifty practice calls is calmer on the first real one. Virtual Captains gives people those fifty calls early, so work starts with less fear and more confidence.
Virtual Captains thanks the institutes for hosting its team and trusting it with their students.
